Any recommendations with caller ID, including contact list, I guess this will be via Bluetooth?
I'm hopeless with technology, in addition, I suffer with MH issues, what may appear simple, I struggle with, may I ask, please be patient, thank you

At which point do you draw the line though?
The way I look at it, a couple of uses and it's already paid for itself, you have to decide, do you want to pay the monies to the authorities or for a bluetooth kit?0 -
I have never had too much success with aftermarket BT HF kits - the sound quality hasn't been the best for the other side of the call.
They can be hit & miss, depends on the quality of fitting as well and how well isolated from other electrical interference the cable runs are.
I have found that earpieces are much better, most will activate voice dialling etc.0 -

I went with the 9100i as i wanted a less obvious screen.
End of the day there will be a cost.
i wanted Bluetooth audio,ipod connectivity,contacts etc.
Call quality is fine with no complaints from use in 3 cars.
Under £120 new on ebay.
you can pay less and take a gamble on 2nd hand.
Self install is easy but will require an adapter loom/SOT cable from memory.0 -

I used a Jabra Cruiser 2 Bluetooth adapter before we got cars with built in hands free. They are similar to the case used to hold a pair of glasses and clip to the sun visor. The Cruiser 2 is now no longer available new (or I don't think it is). The speech quality was superb at both ends, and it had voice dialing too. It lasted a long time on a charge, 2 or 3 weeks or more.
The Amazon price in 2013 was £37.950
