Automatic switching - list of payment recipients

I have read that if you use automatic switching then all your standing orders and direct debits are moved automatically.
I have a long list of accounts which are occasional recipients of payments (family, friends, tradesmen, suppliers etc.).
Are these also transferred automatically, or would I have to copy them all from my current bank and input them to my new bank?
A lot of work if it isn't automatic.

They should all be moved automatically, though I'm not sure if there's a cut off date. In other words, if a payment hasn't been made for 5 years say.
From memory, my new bank has always sent me a list of payees being switched, but partly through my own fault, this hasn't always been very useful, just showing
'payee badger09' 'payee Mrs badger09' etc:o
Could you print off a list, or just take a photo of your existing payees before the switch as backup?0 -
My previous bank retained occasional payments for a fixed period (two years as I recall) and they were all transferred automatically. I did take a screenshot of the list as backup, as the previous poster advises, as I wasn’t sure either.0
