Well, as per the Newbies thread, DRP are the "Debt Recovery" agents for UK CPM.

DRP cannot do anything other than harass you with letters asking for money, the amount on the letters will go up and down and then up again as they try to "offer" you the chance to settle. Ultimately if you ignore these letters they will give up, pass it back to the PPC who will then pass it onto a Solicitors (in this case Gladstones) who will then send more letters and may instigate a small claim against you - when this happens you have to take notice and defend the claim. In this scenario what you are looking out for is a real Letter Before Claim/Action (LBC or LBA) or a MCOL (Money Claim Online) from Northampton.

Now if you want to try and head this off, your best chance is to get a landowner cancellation. Where did the alleged infringement take place? Was it a pay and display, supermarket or residential car park.

Finally the golden rule on this forum is you never say who was driving. You refer to "the Driver" and "the Keeper" not "I" or "my wife/sister/brother/father etc."

In your case above I suspect you are "the Keeper" of the vehicle and they have got your details via the DVLA. Have you recently moved and/or recently updated your V5 documentation with the DVLA?
