I want to put in a formula that inserts 'No' in cell G if £60.00 is in cell F or 'Yes' if £70.00 is in cell F.

I'd appreciate any help here please.

Cell F Cell G
£60.00 No
£70.00 Yes

  • =IF(G1=70,"yes",IF(G1=60,"no","")) will return a blank when G1 is neither 60 nor 70. If you leave out the last "", it will return FALSE.

Thanks so much! I had to change the cell info to the other way around and put in a number. And it worked.
