FlexPlus Mobile Insurance and iPhoneX

Hi
I was one of the lucky ones to get a pre order iPhone X to replace my old iPhone 6s.
I went for the 256gb but have now realised (yes I know this is my fault) that my Nationwide FlexPlus insurance only covers phones up to £1000. Mine will be over this.
When first setting up the bank account to cover the iPhone 6s I never in my wildest dreams imagined having to pay over a grand for a phone(!) but never underestimate Apple I guess.
:rotfl:
I could cancel the order and downgrade to the 64gb but wondered what others are doing in this same situation?

Good news then. But possibly partly why the monthly fee is going up.
