creditscorematters (AGAIN)

Options
Found this thread, forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=2840560 after spotting two unrecognised transactions on my back statement for £56.38.

I filled in a form while getting a quote for a loan, that asked me to verify my debit card by charging 16 pence (£0.16) to it, this form was 'branded' with the loan company 'uniform' so looked like it was part of the quote process for validating my 'identity' and that I had a valid bank account.
This form also had a checkbox for creating an account with creditscorematters which I duly unchecked as I already have Experian and Equifax accounts, so I was somewhat surprised to find £112.76 being charged to my debit card four days later.

For reference, the transactions are simply labelled as PORTAL B and PORTAL C
I received no information in the form of SMS messages or email that these charges were being made despite both having been provided and have not received any information regard this account that I did NOT actually agree to or want.

Please be alert to the apparent tricks this company gets up to and their contact details are here creditscorematters.co.uk/shopcustcontact.asp should they happen to scam you.

Who was the loan from ? At a guess not a high street well known lender.

No lender will ask you to verify your card number.

I definitely wont be scammed by this lot.
