Look at this Wallrock Thermal Liner Product Code: TRETHER75SEAM.
Wickes do a cheaper version but it is not as thick so not good.

I'd vote for this stuff - we didn't have a condensation problem but we had an external wall that was cold - the Wallrock stuff was amazing!

Just seen the updates on this thread. It’s always useful to hear more advice on this topic. I did make a complaint and on the end someone came out after I told them I tried everything. And they agreed I was doing everything possible to combat the issue. They told me the ideal solution was to change the shape of the ceiling in all upstairs but rooms because it sloped on one side of the room as that’s whats causing the condensation to settle there due to it, but they said it’s a very expensive procedure and can’t do that as many of their properties have the same issue and they can’t do one and not the other and we would have to move out whilst they are doing it. ( don’t know why tho) so instead they put some extra insulation in there by opening Up the roof. It has resolved it slightly in the bedrooms but the bathroom is still bad even though I’m still sticking to all the advice they have been giving me.

He might be, or he might be genuinely impressed.

The majority of cheap extractor fans fitted to British property are rubbish at clearing moisture-laden air, and there are plenty of people who report good results from PIV systems.

I'll offer an alternative source of info about the latter. Most people are bright enough to know that in any market there will be a number of providers.

    This isn't a recommendation:

Your right, the extraction fan in the bathroom is rubbish! It’s stopped working at one point so they came out to fix it, then I noticed that it never turned off ( only supposed to come on when it senses moisture) so it was contantly on making this loud noise, eventually it stopped working and it hasn’t worked since. I just use my dehumidifier and open the windows during and after showers

Not to mention the damp and mould issue....

This thread was created in 2017, totally separate issue from my previous thread that was created this month 2019

Is this a serious suggestion? Or Do you just enjoy heightening my anxiety?

Think this is pretty heartless and cruel to be honest

Really? What asbestos, have you surveyed the OPs house?

You really are nasty. Can’t offer advice but keep making someone’s anxiety worse .
