Where to save

Options
Hi. I have saved hard over the years and have filled up a 123 account, a Tsb classic plus account, two Tesco current accounts, a bank of Scotland account and a nationwide flex direct account. I recycle money each month between them to meet the criteria. My flex direct account has 5% for 12 months but is coming to an end shortly. Can anyone suggest any other accounts for saving, without direct debits, as I haven't got anymore dds I can use. I've thought about shares, but haven't a clue where to start and, tbh, I'm a "safe" saver!
Many thanks.

Regular Savers, using any of them? Might be the next best thing. You can feed them from your current accounts. You can get 5% with one from Santander and 5% with one from Nationwide. Plus if you open a First Direct account that'll give you access to another 5% regular saver.

You might think you're playing safe by not investing but the reality is that you're exposed to other risks, mainly inflation, if this is money you are looking to use long term.

Individual shares are indeed high risk but there are plenty of other options at different risk levels to suit most people so it would definitely be worth your while finding out more if you already have filled so many accounts. At least with investments you can generally fill and forget so they actually benefit from not being checked every day.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
