Hi
You'd be better posting this on the 'Savings & investments' board here:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=17
There's a sub board called 'ISAs & Tax Free savings'.
Also, have you read through the Banking & Savings section on the main site?

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.

Some people manage 50% saving rates, but not sure where they keep their capital.
I'm guessing you mean interest rates on savings accounts. That's a different kettle of fish. Please take a look at the links that Pollycat posted for more information.Goals

Actually the best rates are on Regular Saver accounts, as listed here.
There are a number of threads discussing Direct Debits and how to create them.
Minimum pay-ins can usually be met by using the money in the current account, more than once if necessary.Eco Miser

* Open 2 current accounts.
* on 14th of each month, Standing Order sending £1000 from A to B
* on 14th of each month, Standing Order sending £1000 from B to A
That's sorted the minimum amount paid in.
Open 2 Tesco savings accounts with £1 in each. Set up a Direct Debit drawing £1 per month out of each current account.

Why not?

That's sorted the minimum amount paid in.

Sorted.
Except the Tesco "trick" will stop working in a couple of months, as has been discussed at length on this forum.0
