Smart Parking Fistral PCN

Hi there, just wondered what you guys recommend, I've used the newbie info supplied and submitted an appeal online but didn't screenshot it - should I send the same appeal letter in the post recorded delivery? We threw away our parking ticket too.......... found all the info on here so helpful , thank you.

    There’s no harm in sending a duplicate by post.

    Recorded delivery (Signed For)? What happens if they refuse to accept it? They have absolute proof that it was not delivered. And it’s a definite ploy adopted by many PPCs.

    Better, instead, send it first class with a free certificate of posting from your post office counter (don’t just launch it into the nearest post box). Legally, with a Cert of Posting, your letter is deemed to have arrived on the second working day.

    If you want more help in due course, come back and give us a little bit of information on the parking event, although, Smart do cancel some tickets when they see a forum appeal is in play, as they know they are very likely to lose at POPLA and with a cost to them of £27 for the privilege.
