I have no paperwork relating to old credit card accounts from the 80's and 90's nor memory of companies,,,,I would like to add that this is because I had to leave an abusive relationship quickly and he to this day refuses to give me my paperwork and also the reason for my memory problems,,,my first time posting so apologies if I've given tmi,,, thank you

There will virtually no chance of any lender having any records after 30 to 40 years.

You could send Subject Access Request (SAR) letters to all the likely banks you may have held accounts with, but it will cost you £10 for each and it's unlikely that there are any records after so long.0
