Root canal on dog costs? Vet treatment

My dog has chipped his carnassial tooth I believe, and will most likely need root canal as these teeth are usually saved than removed. My insurance will not cover it as it was done whilst chewing a chew toy and not by “accident by trauma”. Any idea how much this’ll cost? Thanks! We are in the West Midlands and he’s with a medivet practice.

The only way to find out is to ask your vet.
When my dogs have had dentals, the charge was for anaesthesia based on weight , then theatre time in units of 15 minutes and incidentals like antibiotic shot and pain relief.
There is no set price, so ask your vet.0
