Ashley Jackson is a Yorkshire institution. Since 1963, when he opened his first gallery, he’s been producing internationally-renowned watercolours that evocatively capture the brooding moorlands of Yorkshire. In his new book, Ashley tells the story of his career in art, and attempts to explain his emotional connection with the landscape around his gallery in Holmfirth.
