    Your regular spending.
    I agree. Just transfer £200 of your regular everyday spending to this card and keep the £200 in your bank.

    Agree, trying to use it to buy something that will keep value won't be as cost effective. If the OP has difficulty keeping money then open a savings a/c that you can't withdraw from straight away and after you have spent on the CC transfer the equiv in your bank to the savings.

    This does assume that OP has a regular income to divert though. It may be that OP has no income and no expenditure (everything is paid/provided by another) and that £200 is put onto the CC for their regular spending, but they have no regular spending.
