Agree, trying to use it to buy something that will keep value won't be as cost effective. If the OP has difficulty keeping money then open a savings a/c that you can't withdraw from straight away and after you have spent on the CC transfer the equiv in your bank to the savings.I agree. This does assume that OP has a regular income to divert though. It may be that OP has no income and no expenditure (everything is paid/provided by another) and that £200 is put onto the CC for their regular spending, but they have no regular spending.0
