I have been using a Monzo Card for a while now as I occasionally buy things in other currencies, and this gets around the charges for non-Sterling transactions. However, I've just come across Tandem which appears to be a better deal as you get 0.5% cashback.
Has anyone used them before?

have you found that you can use your Monzo card to purchase things from other countries with a different currency? mine never process0

If you are just using it for Purchase and clear your balance each month, Tandem is definitely better, no brainer.
But it is just that it ismore difficult to get. Unlike Monzo which is a pre-paid Creditcard, Tandem is a proper credit card which mean you will be credit checked.
Yes, I thought as much. I will apply then, thanks.have you found that you can use your Monzo card to purchase things from other countries with a different currency? mine never process
Hmm, not sure what to say - I've never had a problem. Is it a specific retailer or multiple retailers? If the latter, might be worth getting in touch with Monzo.0 -
I've discover my problem. Monzo will only allow me to buy items & post them to my permanent address. As I travel around a bit and stay in different address my Monzo card won't process these orders.0

Most credit card works in that way.
Otherwise a fraudster could easily impersonate you. All they need is your 16 digits CC no, expiry date and security number in the back of your card.0 -

Have you tried linking your card with PayPal. PayPal Allow people to pay item and send to a different address. I have tried it several times.
It will not work for each vendor but at least it will work where the vendor allow payment by PayPal such as eBay and other retailers.0 -

All my cards allow me to send to other addresses - it's usually up to the retailer and if they allow a separate delivery / billing address. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
