Help for a friend!

Hello all.

Asking this on behalf of a friend (no, really!):

My friend received a parking notice from National Parking Enforcement on 11/4/17 (notice issued to their company as the company is listed as the vehicle owner/registered keeper). They have ignored all correspondence since then until 6 weeks ago when they tried to appeal using the advice on this forum stating that they weren’t driving nor were they aware of who was driving.

The appeal was subsequently refused as too long had lapsed between the date of notice and appeal.

They have again ignored until now. They received a letter from debt recovery plus on 10/10/17 saying that this case will go to court and that they are allowing one final chance to pay.

What action should they take? I appreciate they’ve not followed the guidance in the forum..

Did you read the sticky either? the one saying noone cares about DRP? Or all the threads saying noone cares about ANY debt collector, theyre all wastes of paper?

Your friend is in "ignore" mode. File away ALL letters, only get interested if one is called "letter before claim" (or similar) OR county court claim form from the CCBC.
