I personally freeze the dough in a ball after first rise, and ive found doing it in cling film to be effective, as it rises again as it defrosts and can then be rolled out and put straight on a baking tray - as its quick I try and always freeze a batch so next pizza's are really quick to do!

Looking to get some suggestions on how to make my own pasta sauces and pizza dough - and would they be safe to freeze.
I am a new member to this site, and have already bought the EO and vinegar to try my own homemade fabric conditioner - will be trying it tonight - can't wait!0 -
I just use a couple of cans of chopped tomatoes, large onion (chopped) , pinch of sugar and salt, mixed italian herbs and a few cloves of chopped garlic.
20 mins in microwave at 500 and let it cool down."This site is addictive!"

Pizza dough is fine to freeze, I find it more helpful to make a big batch and freeze half!

HELP!!!
I know I can freeze pizza dough, but could I premake pizza's with all the toppings on etc and freeze that, so all the boyf has to do is put it in the oven on a pizza oven tray?

never tried it but it's how you buy them in the supermarket.. and if you do freeze them can you cook them from frozen... and... how do you make the dough????0

I make pizza dough in my Morpthy Richards breadmaker.
I am useless at making bread etc but with this breadmaker I can make jam , bread, rolls and pizza:j"This site is addictive!"

I did try freezing the pizza dough, but didn't get on very well with it. OH didn't enjoy it as much and now he makes the pizzas.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I have the Morphy Richards Fastbake - about £39 delivered from Amazon but it might be cheaper now.
I never use the quick programme as lots of people have said it is disappointing but use the basic 3 hour programme."This site is addictive!"
