I know it means it has a sticker on the case...
but what does that mean to me?
Do I have to have a working copy of Win 7
or
Does the sticker entitle me somehow to a free version of Win 7?
I doubt it is the 2nd option but thought I would ask...
This one seems a better buy with OS and MS Office 2010 installed
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112578373097?
What do you think?
better than this type?
Dell Optiplex - Dual Core 4GB RAM 160GB HDD Windows 7 - Desktop PC Computer
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231922789331?
But this one is £40 cheaper... will there be much difference for my money?
Thank you

I would buy DELL over HP, but not Small Form Factor. Mini Tower, yes.

As long as the OS sticker is relevant, you'll be able to download the relevant OS and install with the key - less faff to buy one with it installed unless there's a big difference in cost.0

I have better doorstops than that £50 one.
The other 2 may have issues if you need to upgrade.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Dell MiniTowers are quite large, but have a lot of scope for upgrades.
Dell Small Form Factor is absolutely fine, if you're unlikely to upgrade the number of hard drives, PCI cards, etc.
They did have problems with power supplies on the Ultra Small Form Factor some years ago, and we avoided these.0 -

What Are You Thinking ? Seems Nifty.0 -
It's ok, I only want something that "works" it is only temporary... for about a year, and I will not need to upgrade, I will be giving it away when I am finished with it.0
