booking long weekend to Spain next June

I have registered with a few agents, sent emails etc. but no-one appears to want to take my money! Ryan air are now selling flights but don't know when prices go up / down.

happy to book 'split contract'

provisionally 18 adults
want prices for 3 or 4 night break
from London Stansted or east Midlands airport
to Barcelona Gerona

departing 19 or 20th June
returning 23 June

Woudl like to arrive there daytime and come back early evening at lastest

board basis - all inclusive 4 star / 3 star
okay with 2 & 3's to rooms

preferably private transfers (last year spent hours on way back to airport on stinky coach with stinky people)

staying somewhere like Callela, Lloret, Tossa, that area

last two years have stayed in Htop hotels and these have been fine.


any one can help?

EasyJet are flying to Barcelona (the proper airport, not Girona) from East Midlands from December this year. Unfortunately, their flights for June 2008 are not available yet. Sign up for the email newsletter at www.easyjet.com and you'll be informed when next summer's flights are released.

Girona's fine for the resorts mentioned, but why AI? I'm a regular visitor to that part of Spain, and eating out and going out for a beer or bottle of wine is a big part of the holiday. Good food and wine and not expensive.

If you are booking for that amount of people on a budget airline try to book the flights all at the same time.

If you book in dribs and drabs the last people will most likely end up paying more than the 1st ones.

The prices soon start shooting up when the first few people have booked.
