DD Set Up for £250 Switch

Hi All,


I have decided to switch 2 direct debits to a dormant Nationwide account which I plan to switch to Clydesdale.


One of the DD's is through Sky who are due to take my next payment 25th November.


Obviously I need the DD to be set up with Nationwide before I switch.


Does anybody know whether Sky will approach Nationwide to set up the DD before the first payment is required?


My concern is that Clydesdale will pull the offer before I get the chance to switch. I have tried to bring forward the date of the DD without success.

No, you don't actually, as covered in the offer Ts & Cs and repeatedly on the dedicated thread on here at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5722173

At least two direct debits must be moved across, OR SET UP, and paid from your new bank account within 62 days following the completion of the switch. And they must not be cancelled before the £250 cashback has been paid.
