Parking fine with Indigo - what info to give

Hi all,
Apologies in advance if I'm being thick, I'm after some advice on what to put in an appeal to Inidgo.
I've read the Newbies thread and have the standard template to use in their online appeals system which is brilliant, my question is how much additional information to give.
My specific issue relates to the app, I bought my parking ticket it through that as I do every week (just a one day ticket), the app told me on screen the transaction was confirmed but I didn't take a screen shot or check for an email receipt, I just stupidly assumed as I always do that the transaction had successfully taken place.
Upon returning to my car I have a ticket for non payment.
When I check the app the transaction doesn't show up in there but neither do lots of others, some of which show up in my online banking but obviously not one for the day the ticket applies.
My issue is that Indigo's own app is not working correctly but I have no proof of that other than I can see transactions in my bank that don't appear in account app history but nothing specific to the day in question.
So, do I bother to get into this in my appeal or do I focus my efforts on the standard template format around unremarkable signage and more importantly I assume no admission of driver. I'm assuming that's the key part but wondered what everyone's thoughts were on it before I submit on day 26 on Saturday.
Many thanks for reading the essay and any advice you are able to give.

indigo have come to an arrangement with the BPA that POPLa cannot be used on railway land , therefore any appeal you make will fail or simply be ignored , indigo CANNOT instigate court action on railway land , only the land owner (train Co) for something like tresspass (no ticket = tresspass?) within 6 mths at a magistrates court ,
not a lot you can do , any appeal was doomed anywway , keep your head down , for 6 mths , do forum search on bylaws and railways , read up , stay ahead ,
expect letters from debt recovery , answer each one , late as possible , answer with silly questions , draw it out for 6 mthsSave a Rachael

Yes, as above. At no point do you ever ID the driver, in ANY Communication in ANY form.0
