Printer for University

Afternoon all,
I am in need, fairly urgently, of a printer for university. It would be primarily used for printing documents so only a basic model is required.
Any suggestions? bearing in mind I am operating on a student budget so the cheaper, both in terms of model and inks etc, the better.
Many thanks

Plenty of lexmark printers out there going very cheap for £20, have seen some go £9.99. But the cartridges are not the cheapest.
Best bet would be to go for a cheap epson printer, something like the stylus D92, around £30 & get compatible cartridges very cheaply0 -
Yep, Lexmark seem to be selling at good prices recently. How about this Printer/Scanner/Copier for £25?

I'm also at Uni........ however, the advice I would give you is buy a laser printer! Why do you think that your uni has no ink jet printers????
They are only slightly more expensive to buy than an ink jet i.e.

At £46 +P&p. However, the extra expense will be quickly recouped as your not paying £20 per 200 pages, rather you can just buy laser toner (it's all the same stuff!) off ebay. £10 for 20,000 pages. I have the same printer and after one year at Uni (thousands of printed pages), I'm still using the toner that came with the printer.
Here's the link for toner

I'd go for a laser as well.
I've installed four or five of these at work and not had a call about any of them.

Cheap mono laser.
Samsung ML2010 printer £44.63 inc vat
I would think you can but DIY refils for less than £10.
I have an older version and only done a refill once in about 2 years and sometimes I think the wife and kids are printing books with all the paper they keep using.0
