experan has an issue ?

hugely annoyed here :mad:

requested a overdraft a month ago with a bank, was told experian came back fine but bank did not like me (no debt ??)

i got credit from egg and was accepted!

then went to buy something from sony today through finance and got rejected, was told its experian!

i am mystified as to why its been so random, lived at same address for over 20 years, no debt, im young

Not that I know too much about this but it could be the fact that you have had little credit in the past, so they don't know how you will handle credit when you get it.

annualcreditreport shows four accounts, one with the bank, three credit ones, all payments made sucessfully and up to date, two with credit limits showing, ill just have to wait for the experian reports to show up sometime soon
