AA Personal Finance Reclaim

Had a reply from a reclaiming firm. AA Personal Finance has no records of a loan I took out 15 years ago. However the AA have stated they will look into any account numbers I have. Of course I have no Paperwork. Is a firm with a legal department required now? Or should I just give up?

You didn't need a "reclaiming firm", what you needed was documentary evidence of the old finance you wanted to complain about.
Do not be deceived, these firms have no special investigatory powers and do little more than put a stamp on the envelope containing your "complaint"
From what you say, your complaint was a non-starter from the off; 2002 is three years before general insurance sales were regulated.0 -
That's a shame. Most of my Loans, cards etc were before 2002. Mortgage put paid to Frivolous spending. Late '80s onwards. Thanks for replying.0
