multiple switching - £250 bonus confusion

Hi all,
My first post here!

Just looking for some advice on my current accounts...
I very recently switched my Halifax current account to Nationwide to get the £100 for me and £100 for a friend bonus plus 5% interest on £2500.
I also very recently opened a Tesco Current Account (with added internet saver acc) in order to get the 3% interest on £3000 offer.

I have now spotted the new Clydesdale/ Yorkshire bank offer of £250  for switching yet I'm a bit stuck on what to switch as I'm happy with my new accounts and they're all set with standing orders for minimum payments and direct debits so I hit all the criteria for interest rates.

What would everyones suggestions be?

I considered reopening a current account (as a dummy account) with Halifax (I still hold my help to buy ISA with them) to then switch once opened to Clydesdale for the £250 asap, however I'm conscious this will cause a lot of damage to my credit rating due to my recent switch + new Tesco account?

Thanks everyone in advance :j

Opening another account with any of your existing current account providers should be quick & painless as they've recently verified your ID. So, open an additional account, make sure it fits the requirements of the Clydesdale/Yorkshire (or whatever) switching incentive, in terms of DDs etc, then apply to Clydesdale/Yorkshire (or whatever) and ask them to switch that new account.

    Simples:)

Don't worry about 'credit rating', which is a number made up by whichever CRA you are looking at:cool:, unless you intend to apply for a mortgage or other substantial credit facility in the next 3 months or so.
