County court response and letter before action

Can some one please help me. I have received a letter before action and county court response form from civil enforcement ltd . I have to respond tomorrow to meet the deadline. The back ground is as follows.
After signing up for gym membership (which includes free parking) I went to the gym to collect my pass etc and to receive a letter demanding £60 for the 13 minutes I was there. I later found out I had to register my car reg for the anpr.
I sent a letter the CEL explaining the situation but they rejected it. I wasn’t smart enough to appeal to popla
I then sent them a letter I copied from here asking for proof etc.... usual response don’t have to show it .... and so on... unfortunately I don’t have a copy of what I sent or there response..
I am aware I have been very disorganised about it all..
I have now received the county court paperwork and need some help writing a defence and if possible a recommendation for some legal defence.
I have a email from the management at the gym who employe CEL stating they don’t want it enforced and that they have tried to get CEL to cancel the fine...
Hope someone can help
Thanks in advance Seamy

all dealt with in post #2 of the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this very forum
look at a dozen recent similar threads to get the idea on what you are doing
have they said they will send the POC within 14 days ???
have you done the online AOS on the CCBC website ?
use this as your template and adapt it

Do you mean legal advice? Don't bother. The CAB are useless, a solicitor would cost too much money and no-one in their right mind on this forum recommends paying for such a simple, standard matter that you will 99% likely win, with our free help.
There is no better advice than the free advice here. We see off CEL every week and they have never continued as far as a hearing when our defences are used. I repeat - NO HEARINGS, ALL DISCONTINUED THIS FAR.
All you need to do is read the NEWBIES thread, post #2 of the top sticky thread you saw when you posted (the one saying to 'READ THESE FAQS FIRST') - and read other CEL defence threads (VERY important!).
So just click on each one right now, looking at thread titles in the past, say, 10 pages here, and read and learn from them, where it's yet another CEL defence thread.
Has the claim form got wording under the Particulars of Claim on the left? Or is it 'to follow?'PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry I should have said on the op.
I have read the other responses but I am unable to decipher which is applicable to me. Also surely the fact that I shouldn’t of had to paid for it in the first place as I was a gym member is defence enough?
Coupon-mad , I agree this should be very simple and shouldn’t require a solicitor, but atm I am looking at a £500 total fine and have no idea what I am sending to defend it other than blindly copying and pasting something someone else has written which is applicable to them.0 -

It’s not to follow it has the amount due, interest rate, references etc....
Apologies it does say below that .
“I will provide the defendant with separate detailed particulars within 14 days after service of the claim form”0 -
probably failed the new protocols then , seeing as you dont have the photos, paperwork , evidence etc0

What did the gym say when you complained to them? Surely it’s to them you should be posing this question, rather than to ‘strangers’ on an Internet forum? Also surely the fact that I shouldn’t of had to paid for it in the first place as I was a gym member is defence enough? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I have spoken to the management at the gym, they contacted the parking company, Creative Parking Solutions, a name that has not been mentioned in any of my letters, and they have said that even though the gym can confirm that I was a member a the time, now that it has been passed on the courts, there is nothing they can do about it.....0

I really need help. I have been fighting this PCN for over a year now and I have just received a letter to say that if I don!!!8217;t pay with in 14 days, Civil Enforcement Ltd will take me to court. The parking charge got to as much as £320 but they have now said they have reduced it to £175. I don!!!8217;t know if this is just them hoping I will pay because they seem to be compromising or if they will actually take me to court0
