Who would repair a broken upvc windowsill?

Our windowsill needs replacing. It's bowed because of the heat from the radiator (I presume). Our windows still have the 10 year guarantee, but that company went bust years ago. I called Fensa and they said that the warranty would now be void if the company are no longer trading.
I called a double glazing company and they said they wouldn't do it. I called a window repair man and he said he wouldn't do it. So anyone know who I would call?

Do you mean the window board indoors? A carpenter will fit an mdf one.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

uPVC interior sills are available in various widths and lengths, from Wicks, B&Q and others.0

As above, buy a suitable looking replacement and cut it dot to the right size. Less than half an hour's work. Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0

My husband is generally very good with DIY. I'm not. He doesn't know how you would hold it in place. Me with my zero DIY skills (well almost zero) has said glue. There must be a plastic glue but he's not convinced it will hold. It's the inside windowsill on the bedroom.0

I always use a tube of silicon sealant to stick it down, never had any failures.
Then use the same sealant to run a finishing bead around the edge if necessary.0 -
^^^ yes silicon sealant is fine. Best use a low modulus one such as by Soveriegn (others are available!) widely available at many a DIY outlet.
Choose a colour or clear to match the rest.0
