It has been back up for me, but seems to have gone down again after 15:15.

    Received this from Solaredge....

"Thank you for contacting Solaredge Support.

Our monitoring portal server is down. Please note that you will not be able to monitor your system until service is restored.

Please bear with us while out IT department work on this issue.

    Regards

This is why I don't like this sort of cloud system I'm in the process now of seeing if I can sniff the protocol they use
  • Server outages can happen at any time for any number of reasons. The important point is all whether any data is lost.

When I have had a problem at my end, broadband outage for example, the data has been logged to the solaredge server when back online.

Whatever the server glitch was today I never noticed. And when I checked this evening I could see that today's generation graph is displaying correctly, as is the per-panel output. So no data has been lost. Seems like an adequately resilient server to me.

I'm not about to faff around setting up my own server unless I have to.

    Panic over?
