Buying new car but which model?
A slightly odd request possibly.
I am 75 years old and have driven Renault Scenic Automatics for the last 18 years. Now I am looking to replace with a slightly smaller automatic car but am somewhat bemused by the choice available!
I would appreciate suggestions from people who have experience of models that might be suitable.
What I like about the Scenic is that it has
1) a high driving position being slightly higher than most saloons,
2) firmish seats,
3) smooth automatic transmission
4) and quite good visability.
but 5) I no longer need three seats across the back.
I would like to hear from anyone who is pleased with their slightly smaller model.
Thank you.

Smaller suv cross over style then. Look at Nissan duke, renault Capture or Vauxhall Mokka. The duke is a cvt box which may not be to everyone's taste.0

Once you have narrowed your choise try CarWow for quotes most of which will probably be close to you.0

Thank you. I knew about the Captur but not the Mokka so I'll have a look at that. Call me old fashioned but I prefer the old fashioned (real!!) automatic boxes as I suspect you thought I might.0

Tom99: Thanks for that lead. I'll give them a try in due course.0
