I got a 32'' Samsung LED TV from Richer Sounds a year and a half ago with a six year warranty . I now have given it back to them for it to be repaired as there was a problem with the picture and I was told that I would have to wait 3 - 4 weeks for it to be repaired . Have you ever had a TV repaired by Richer Sounds ? did they do a good job
Whey does it take 3 - 4 weeks to have it repaired ? also any feedback on 32'' Samsung TV's good or bad

RS may give a longer time period to cover themselves, whereas the job will take perhaps a week.
I've never had a product from RS go wrong, but if they repair themselves or use an independent company ,there may be a problem with obtaining parts.
A small dealer who repaired my son's Sony tv said that Samsung made getting spares difficult for smaller companies, making them wait for an import, thus extending the time the repair took.0 -
I had a TV which was 4 1/2 years old on a 5 year old warranty go wrong. They took it in and spent about 3 weeks trying to source the parts. They said if it got to 4 weeks they'd give us a new TV. When they couldn't fix it they did indeed give me a brand new TV with a brand new 5 year guarantee.
Richer Sounds are very very good, call them and ask for an update, but don't worry. You'll either get your TV back or a new one.Pants0 -
Also if the TV has being repaired once does that mean that the warranty is no longer valid ?0
