Funding to get £250 Clydesdale (also Yorkshire/B)

Hi
I don't have a spare £1000 to deposit to meet the funding for this, I have seen others suggest 4x £250. My problem is that I'd need to pay in the £250, take it out, pay it in and so on. For £250 it's worth the effort, but, won't that look like money laundering?
I don't really want to change where my salary is paid, I've moved that a couple of times in the last couple of years, and as my pay date varies every month I'd be risking payments being bounced depending on the pay date. (sometimes I get paid the same day as direct debits start coming out of my accounts, which is why I only actively use 2 current accounts)
Any advice?

Can you not just send £1000 from your pay to the new account and straight back again? That way there would always be funds to pay any bills on that day. Other than that, if you really don't have £1000 in any account at any point during the month then doing several transfers is the only option really. I doubt it would cause any issues. I have a day in the month where money flies about between accounts and back to the starting point and it has never caused me any issues.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. It won't look like money laundering if its being moved electronically from traceable sources. If it were cash it might raise eyebrows, but I doubt £250 every week would raise the eyebrows too high.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

I circulate money around my accounts weekly without issue. Banks know some folk get paid weekly.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
