M&S certainly did not take 3 months to open mine was done and dusted in a couple of weeks with me choosing the date that suited me, it could have been quicker but I wanted to make sure a direct debit was not in limbo. Other switches were as easy. Going to try for the Yorkshire/Clydesdale bank offer.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

Nah, best advice is to accept you were incredibly unlucky and try again.I took advice from MSE to change banks but it took nearly 3 months to open an account with M&S Bank. In the end we gave up and never bothered. It's too much hassle. Best advice is don't bother.
Something like 98% of switches are glitch free.0 -
I don't have problem with M&S open account a year ago.
But I will be closing it soon as I can't stand their mobile app.0 -
