Clearscore wrong address history.

Back in Jan i applied for a clearscore account. I noticed the previous address was from a property i moved out from in 1999, instead of the address we sold 5 years ago to buy and move into our current address. I only told clearscore about my current and previous addresses, i didn't tell them about any others especially not from 1999.
I followed their "something's wrong" links which lodged a request with Equifax, clearscore's data provider.
i had to create an account with Equifax to read their response, but their site wasn't working so couldn't read their response before they closed the request. I tried again several times and was met with the same response.
i even lodged a request directly with Equifax and got the same, they respond but i couldn't login to view it till after they closed it.
i finally emailed clearscore complaints, telling them i'd lodge a complaint with the ICO if they didn't stop processing incorrect info. i was told it would be sorted if i agree to new t's and c's, i grudgingly agreed and it didn't work.
since 2000 i've never missed a payment and have had a number of credit cards, mortgages, car loans, phone contracts, utilities etc. Would potential creditors not take any of that into account if they think my last address was from 1999, missing out all the stuff in between. Is there a reason why CRA's have such old info on me, is there not a limit on how far back they should look?
Any one know what the impact of a CRA having incorrect address info is?
Any one know how to get Equifax & Clearscore to correct the info they have on me?
address timeline
Address A 1992 - 1999
Address B 1999 - 2004
Address C 2004 - 2006
Address D 2006 - 2012
Address E 2012 - 2017
Address B & address E are the same address.
Equifax are reporting my previous address is address A and not address D.
