    Couple of questions -

I'm guessing you booked a few rooms (or one very posh one) if it was £900 you were spending.

Will your friends not contribute an equal share to cover your loss? It seems unfair you should shoulder the entire loss.

Where is the hotel out of interest?
  • yep, a few rooms.

1 room on the first night.
2 rooms on the second night.

And its called the Crazy Bear. amazing looking place.

The attuide of the staff has just left me rather angry.

"no sir, you will only get %50 back, do yo still want to cancel?"

    In Oxford?? Looks amazing.

Date changes are free? Is that a possibility?

Cancel the first night, lose 50% of that night... change the date on the second, giving it to your parents for their Christmas...and you still get to go too.;)

    Or sell it on e-bay?
Not sure if you can do that, but you wouldn't get the full money.

  • If this review in The Telegraph is anything to go by, customer service doesn't seem their strong point!

I'd be extremely tempted to flog it on to someone else or try Ebay.
  • Hey,

Only anything within 8 weeks of departure should fall within cancelation fees. Essentially you should only lose your deposit on the cancelled passengers. Who is the agent/operator?
