  • today's small achievement ...
I was brave and went and had my first smear. And she did my bloods while I was there. This is an achievement because I stupidly kept putting my smear off since summer last year.

    To do tonight.

Food shop with a list and stick to the list!

That's so good!! Well done, I'm sure you'll smash your next goal too :)

Good on you for going for your smear too, it is so important and we are so lucky to live in a country where these things are provided for us. I cringed when I got my letter through to go after I had my LO, it's just not a nice mental image! :o

Thank-you so much for your replies it's so lovely of you to take the time to leave a comment. It really helps spur me on. :)

So yesterday we brought dds first shoes (now she's walking) no expense as we used vouchers she had for Xmas and birthday. :) win win!!

I had training at work today. Long story short my employer tricked me into giving him my pension details and has said he's contacting them to say I want to opt out all because he's a tight fisted !!!!!!! who doesn't want to have to contribute. He also tried to tell me I'm not entitled I've checked with the pension company and I am entitled and I do not want to opt out. So I have the contact number for the pension regulations place and will be phoning them first thing as well as acas. The mood I am in right now I would quiet happily hand in my notice. We apparently get extra holiday entitlement because we don't get extra Pay on bank holidays or Xmas etc. This is something I'm going to contact acas about. And we don't get paid for attending manditiory training. And we are all on minimum wage. I really wonder why I'm there. Oh and we have to buy our own uniform.! Anyway it's been a stressful day and I've done another 3 hours training today unpaid. So I've ordered take out because to be blunt I'm !!!!ed off with work and I couldn't be arsed to cook tonight.

Electric check tomorrow and Easter service at school. :)

update ... the idiot says we get extra holiday but i have just discovered we dont ... another lie !
