Chrome Increase?

Trying to decide if an e-mail is genuine tonight.
From Vanquis advising my limit is being increased from 1k to 2k 27/11
Double limit increase?
Only Vanquis card I have is Chrome.
Is it genuine.

Not this evening.
Though I called the tel number in e-mail from ipad and it connected to ‘welcome to vanquis’
Think I’ll re check via evanquis from 27th Nov’
If it’s genuine I’m amazingly suprised.

Sounds genuine, as long as it's not asking you to click a link to accept the increase. Google any phone number on the email and see if it's listed on Chromes site also.

Aqua have just increased my limit from £900 to £2100 so it's very possible.


Capital one recently emailed me saying they were increasing my limit from £300 to £550 on x date. Where as Aqua seem to do the increases in writing

What I’m seeing from reading various articles and my own/friends experiences, is that fincos seem to be trying to lend as much as possible right now because they fear a clampdown from the authorities. Personally, I’ve never received so many card and loan offers as I’m getting now.
It’s all very reminiscent of the mid noughties.

Though I agree, I was inly reading about the credit clapdown a few days ago.
Better behave myself credit wise.
Word on the street is mortage interest rates are due to ‘nornalize’ very soon.

Excellent advice, though I have more important business to deal with today
I only clicked the tel number from the e-mail to make a short call until Vanquis voice answered.
I haven’t clicked any web link.
As it’s only a few days until 27th Nov I’ll resist making a call today.

Never found the time to call Vanquie i.e chrome card.
Tonight I come home to a text message via ipad.
Vanquis a/c ending Congratulations! Your Vanquis Card Credit Limit has been increased to £2000.
I’ve since signed onto evanquis and my limit has indeed doubled from 1k -2k -though I already have a high limit 750 approx which I plan to reduce during 2018.
Nice increase though another example of slowly improving credit rating to show some on time payments during last 3 yrs approx of dmp.

When did you take the Chrome card out? That's a good increase, wish they'd hurry up and increase mine!
