My partners contacts have appeared on my iphone

Me and my partner both have iphones and share an apple id/icloud. Her contacts have appeared on my phone despite me being logged out of icloud/apple on my phone. How else could this have happened? How can they sync when i’m not signed in to icloud? Will my contacts appear on hers too? I don’t want to delete them in case they delete on both of our phones.

Wait till you start getting missed calls, notifications for each other lol - becomes even worse when 2 kids are linked as well.
