Can someone answer this question please?

We requested the Manatory reconsideration on 12th Ocober over the phone
and also requested a copy of the ESA85 form at the same time.

We followed this up with the letter shown below which was posted on 16th October.

Phoned the DWP today and was informed that the telephone request was not recorded/put through
even though we received the ESA85 documents a couple of days later.
They also say they have not yet received the letter.

Does anyone know how long it takes for a letter to be shown on the system after it is received?

Copy of said letter that was posted on 16/10/2017 to:-

    "Sunderland benefits freepost, dwp esa30"

    Dear***
I am writing to confirm that I would like to request a mandatory reconsideration of your decision

I phoned your office on 12th October to request copies of all the evidence that was used in making the decision.

I would be grateful if you would not take any further action until I have had a chance to peruse and respond to that evidence when I receive it. I believe that you have underestimated the extent of both my physical and mental health problems and how they affect my daily living. It will take time for me to gather the supporting evidence that I need to back up my request for a mandatory reconsideration.

    Yours truly

It can take 7-10 working days for a letter to show on the system.

I would take Alice's advice in post #5 and not delay the MR process. 80% of MR decision's remain the same so you'll most likely have to take it to Tribunal.

    Hi Alison
Thank you so much I have sent you the Private messages. Sorry they are so long but I really need some sound advice but some of the stuff is too personal to post publicly.
    Kindest regards
