SEIS Qualifying Companies

Hi All,

First post on the forum so wanted to say hello and ask a minor question.

I'm looking to start an event management company for weddings and wanted to know would this qualify for SEIS investments... Have read about the excluded list and qualifying company's but just wanted to check with some bods on the forum

Any help would be appreciated

It depends on the nature of your company, its activities and levels of assets, and how much you are raising. The basics are at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/venture-capital-schemes-apply-to-use-the-seed-enterprise-investment-scheme . You can always apply for advance assurance. We aren't going to be able to give you professional advice valued at £thousands on here.

Well you could but you'd want paying for it....
