What do you guys think of UK Mortgages Ltd as an investment, I am not sure about if it's worth the risk for the yield it might generate.

Sold out entirely a while back. Concept was good. Finding enough quality debt to purchase proved far more of a challenge. Certainly not helped by paying dividends out of capital to meet the income expectations.

ah ok I might give it a miss for now then, I am looking for something that will have a sustained income, don't like the idea of them taking money from capital to pay the dividend.

I'll probably ditch it at some point, not been impressed with it, yield is decent but it's not clear yet whether current dividend is sustainable.

Performance has been decidedly underwhelming since I first held April 2016. Prepared to give it another year or two as an income generator and use it to feed other investments.
