Positive asbestos (Chrysotile) found in paper backing stuck to floor. Advice?
dust should be kept out. It's odd that I have never seen this issue anywhere else online and thinking maybe that's because the norm is to just board over it. As long as the plumbing is all good there is no other reason to lift the floor.
the problem is that 5 years ago this was never an issue, these sorts of floors were being ripped up day in day out, 99% of the population are probably unaware of half of the building products that might contain asbestos.
To be honest my personal opinion is that a lot of this has gone over the top, low risk asbestos in very small quantities. You are probably doing more harm to your health sitting behind a lorry belching out fumes , every day on your morning commute.
