I have a 12 year old going to Alton towers during half term.
She's been told to take money for food and drinks. It's years and years since I went there, anybody have a guess at how much she'll need for the day?

Here's a link to Alton Towers restaurants and their menus. Not what I'd consider value-for-money, but if the plan is to buy a meal at the park rather than take a picnic, I'd say around £20 would cover dinner, a snack and a couple of drinks if she's careful :cool:0 -
Thanks Alikay. Certainly not value for money, but what I expected.I love a bargain. Now mortgage and debt free. hurray!!:smileyhea0

Have you thought about packed lunch? Or is that not an option!?0

Hmmm they are the restaurants in the hotels I think. They have outlets in & around the park which will be more reasonable, for example the Burger Kitchen https://www.altontowers.com/media/1928/burger-kitchen.pdfDwy galon, un dyhead,
Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
Dau enaid ond un taith.0 -
Packed lunch not an option as her friends all taking money to eat out. That looks more reasonable price wise. I think I'm going to give her a couple of drinks and few snacks then £10 for lunch.
Thanks Oakdene and Shaggy.I love a bargain. Now mortgage and debt free. hurray!!:smileyhea0
