Aqualisa Digital with combi boiler

I have just moved into a house that has the above shower with a system boiler (water tank in loft and immersion heater). It also has a wireless stop start remote control button.
I understand that if I replace the boiler with a combi that the pump will have to be removed from the shower. Does this mean that the pressure will then be pants on it? Also will I still be able to use the wireless on/off switch (I read somewhere you can't for some reason).

Just been through this change
With your present system the shower pressure is limited to that supplied by the height of the Loft Tank - hence the need for a pump.
With a Combi Boiler, the pressure of both the Hot & Cold outlets is controlled by the pressure of the mains water feed into your house, ( Mine is good ), but get your plumber to check it as in some areas it's low0 -
If the shower contains a pump then no you can’t use it with a combi, but be warned those showers aren’t cheap if you decide to go down the combi route factor that into your costingsI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

Thanks. What do you mean factor it in? I was told the pump gets removed, isn’t that all that it needs?
Some people have recommended an unvented cylinder instead of combi.0 -
The diverter and the digital processer are different, all the details are on the Aqualisa website or give them a ring they have brilliant customer service and a really helpful tech team. The pressure will be as good as your incoming water pressure, the temp at a given pressure will be governed by the hot water flow rate of your boiler. I wouldn't entertain anything under 12 l/min this will be dependant on the size in kW of your boiler.
The pressure of your shower will be affected by opening other taps in the house, though as you have already discovered that can be alleviated by fitting an unvented cylinder0 -
You need to replace the controller/pump for a non-pumped controler - that is what they are on about, you can;t just 'remove the pump' from the box of tricks
Something along these lines (depending on what you have at the moment)

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I’m stuffed then because I’m not paying over £400 to change the shower part. Dunno what to do now.0

They go for quite a bit second hand so stick yours on eBay or similar.0
