Santander commission - more payout

Options
Hi - watched a video in which Martin explained that for loans already paid out on PPI claims no further claim could be made, regardless of the new stance re commission >50%.

Santander recently wrote to me about a loan I took out which I believed had been sorted so queried and their CS advisor explained that they were paying out again on commission front .. regardless of claims already made.. is this right??

  • Successful complaints are already refunded of all the PPI (plus interest), only rejected complaints receive refunds of any undisclosed commission over 50%.

You won't be refunded twice, so you've either been sent the letter in error or the loan in question was not "sorted" as you thought.

No. They might have sent you the letter because it's requirmeent but when they check their databases and see you've had a successful complaint, you wont be entitled to any more.
