Amending Premier Inn booking!

Hello, hopefully someone can help! So my partner works away a lot but this time he’s in the UK, butting a long story short I’ve booked & paid for a non amendable or refundable room with Premier Inn, now I don’t want to cancel or have a refund but I wasn’t wondering if possibly they would let me perhaps swap hotels? I know it’s non amendable and I think that’s the key but I can only try!
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!!!

The booking cannot be amended. Changing the location is an amendment (a big one at that).

There is nothing to stop you calling them and asking but be prepared for a firm no.

Not premier inn, but Travelodge. My aunt often books a non refundable room to visit her mil as well as many other stop overs. They booked a few nights in Cardiff when her mil was ill. So she called up and asked could they possibly help her. TL did swap her to a south London TL. They said it was because she was a valued customer etc.

So it can be done in TL might be worth calling PI but be prepared for a no
