You were never going to get a POPLA code as PWE are IPC operators. Only BPA operators offer POPLA.
The IAS, offered by the IPC is not worth bothering with, they reject virtually every appeal.
You’ve now got to see what PWE’s next move is, probably harmless debt collectors (read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4 about dealing with them).
Come back only if you receive a LBC/LBA/LBCCC (sticky post #5 for acronyms) or real court papers - not very likely.

If I get the "harmless"debt collector letter I will ignore it as adviced reading this bit of your advice umkommaas: "2017 figures for Hearings are cumulative daily. Those for Tickets are updated every 3 months when available [Currently Jan-June 2017]. To work out your chances of going to Court, compare the number of Court Hearings against the number of Tickets Issued - less than 1 in 1000."0

Small fry like this are more likely to go for serial offenders where they can get a return worth the fees and bother, you are unlikely to get more than threats IMO.0 -
This mean not to worry keep on ignoring upcoming threats fisherjim?I am really concerned need lots of reassurance but so do not want to pay up £50 to PWE for their faulty machine and invisible signs of pay online if you ought to reasoning...0

its your choice
its pay up (in full) , OR ignore , there is nothing else (you are looking for an option that doesnt exist)
if you IGNORE and they try a court case within 6 years , defend yourself
its a civil court , not a criminal court0 -
Where did you get approx 6 years?Thats enough for a proper debt to become unclaimable never mind a little £50 case.. Also does it work the way to us "fighters" to write to the landowner for complain about the parking company morals before actual court letter would come?Sorry if being naiv or not read enough threads, but myself is Only a librarian not a lawer!0

the 6 year rule has been the case in england and wales since 1973 (6 years in england and wales , 5 years in scotland - this is "common knowledge")
it was the SMALL CLAIMS COURT at your local county court , now there are 2 government centres for it , MCOL in Northampton for bulk processing such as for businesses etc and the manual paper version handled by Salford (Manchester area)
you should ALWAYS complain to the landowner
and bear in mind that Beavis lost 3 times in 3 courts to 10 out of 11 judges , so he had to pay his £85 (that was 2 years ago)
you are naive if you think they wont chase a £50 to £100 debt in county court , these companies issue something like 30 thousand to 50 thousand court claims per year
CEL have unleashed a tsunami at this moment in time
they all saw what happened in the BEAVIS case so several jumped on the bandwagon, especially those encouraged by GLADSTONES , WRIGHT HASSALL and B W LEGAL
PWE are in the GLADSTONES camp so no doubt are being jemmied by those sc@msters that are often reported on parking pranksters blogsite0
