Part time student - effect on benefits

Options
Hey all,
I would appreciate some advice here. Im looking to start a part-time Open University degree in february and am currently going through all the applications etc.
With regards finances - It looks like I will be entitled to the following
Tuition Loan Fee - 950pa
Course Grant 1150pa
Parent Learning Allowance 750pa
I'm currently unemployed but not claiming JSA
My partner is unemployed and claiming income based JSA -115 per week - this is likely to change soon as she has a provisional job offer but I will look at them sums when it happens
We get 116 per week tax credits
We get 34.40 a week child benefit
We get 115 a week housing benefit
We get 24 per week council tax reduction.

Which benefits will be affected (if any) by me receiving the loan/grants, and to what extent roughly?
many thanks

you are part of your partners JSA claim as you receive the couples rate.

any income will affect means tested benefit

so everything apart from the the child benefit.

you need to be much more specific to receive any meaningful advice

    1. Ok completely overlooked that part so thanks for clearing it up.
2 so should I only look at the course grant and PLA as income then or does the tuition fee loan count as income?
    3. Ive read conflicting information though I understand rules probably change all the time. So will I need to:
-tell HMRC and they will review JSA and CTC based on yearly income and changes benefits accordingly
    - tell housing benefits when I receive payments and they will base that as a one off payment?

    Many Thanks
Benefits are new to me - been a rough few months so just trying to get back on track
if I'm missing any particular details please ask
