Had to stay a night at this hotel a few days ago due to wife having an operation as a day patient and not allowed to be driven home (2 1/2 hours drive) afterwards. The staff at the hotel were fantastic, always helpful, thoughtful and considerate, every staff member we had dealings with was fantastic.

My wife and I would like to thank every member of staff at this hotel for making our stay so much easier at a time when we were both rather stressed.

I don't do Facebook (although my SIL now works for them!), thought about Tripadvisor but not everybody trusts their reviews these days!

I thanked them all personally before we left, then as an IHG Rewards Club member I was sent an online survey (from IHG, the owners of Holiday Inns) where I made our thanks known. As this forum is open and credible, I thought a thread on here would be better than Tripadvisor etc.
