Ridge Tiles - Refitting/Re bedding Quote

Hi we have had a quote to have the roof ridge tiles re bedded and pointed and the valleys pointed too. He would be using Flexim which he believes is a better system than cement or the clips type system.
Its a detached house so approx 16 metres of ridge tiles need re securing and we don't need any replacing.
The quote is £700. Seemed steep to me but I am literally clueless on what this type of job would cost so it could be very reasonable?
Any one got any experience of this type of job and pricing?
Thanks

Flexim is a bit like cement, but needs mechanical fixing. His material costs for Flexim will be £200-300 and the job should take a day for two blokes. So the labour should be about £350 - £450, so it's not a bad price. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

Thank you, really helps to make an informed decision if I know its a fair price.0

We had new ridge tiles done they were made of coloured concrete this was about 6 years ago. They used a moving scaffoding plateform on our garage roof which was attached to house. Anyway new ridge tiles, and two of those emetal things that go at the end cost was £600. Two guys did it in 2 days one roofer the other labourer0
