Started CC application but don't want to finish - Bad for Credit rating?

I applied for a Post Office credit card online and they sent some documentation on ID evidence I needed to provide, forms to sign etc.

Now I have changed my mind and don't want to complete the application. Will this affect my credit rating?

This won't affect your credit rating unless you have made loads of other applications as well.

Lots of applications made in a short space of time is bad.

One on it's own will not have much effect, so I wouldn't worry about it.
